“wood,” “foot,” and “room” are not diphthongs. A diphthong is a slide between two vowel sounds, like the rest of the words you selected, except it’s not usually with two syllables, in fact it’s just the opposite; it combines them into one syllable. If your definition isn’t even close to being accurate, it should at least be miserably hilarious.
