Addressing and DefriendingLarge print version:

Status update: Why all these busted hoes wanna hate on me? These bottom of the barrel tricks is a mess I have my own Swag I don’t need you bitches worrying about me? Like wtf bitches is thirsty.

Comment of the year: Yes, hello there I would like to address a few points before I remove you from my friends list. First off I would like to address this “Why all these busted hoes wanna hate on me?” Well for one, you added those “busted hoes” to your friends list, you have all the power in the world to remove them but instead you complain to your nearly four thousand “friends” so you can get self fulfillment from all the likes and attention you receive, it is quite sad really. Today’s youth seems to have a need to succumb to degrading tactics to feel as if they are liked by an online community of very similar mindsets. Next I would like to point out “These bottom of the barrel tricks” I can only assume that you have this elitist attitude that will not only drive people away from having any kind of social interaction, but also stirs the controversy pot just enough to make enemies, why have enemies when you can have friends? I’ll let you soul search for that answer on your own time. Thirdly I would like to point out the us of the word “swag” I do commend you however, you only did use one G in the spelling of it, but that does not negate the point that it is a frowned upon word from most of the intelligent world. To be completely honest, you really don’t have to be an Einstein to figure that out. And lastly your grammar is downright atrocious, I feel like there should be some kind of moral compass telling you to use proper English and proper sentence structure, but clearly you lack that trait. Well my ranting has concluded but I can’t just leave you here without some kind of learning experience. So without further ado did you know that the ever so popular word “swag” is actually derived from the word “swagger” which was actually invented by William Shakespeare himself! If you do not know who that is, Google it. I really hope you did learn some things here tonight, and with that I bed you farewell forever, hopefully.

When It Comes to Grammar, We’re All Fallible

If you haven’t heard or live under a rock, President Barack Obama graced the pages of Reddit yesterday answering questions from members of the site. Redditors are notorious grammar nazis and will not let a misplaced “you’re” stand… or in this case, a misused “a.”

President Obama Makes Grammar Error on RedditFor the visually challenged, here’s the text:

@ormirian: Are you considering increasing funds to the space program? Edit: grammar

@PresidentObama: Making sure we stay at the forefront of space exploration is a big priority for my administration. The passing of Neil Armstrong this week is a reminder of the inspiration and wonder that our space program has provided in the past; the curiosity probe on mars is a reminder of what remains to be discovered. The key is to make sure that we invest in cutting edge research that can take us to the next level – so even as we continue work with the international space station, we are focused on a potential mission to a asteroid as a prelude to a manned Mars flights.

@s0crates82: an asteroid, Mr. President.

@Whoa_Chill_Bro: don’t correct the President, neckbeard.

@TyluhS: A grammar nazi’s greatest dream… “an… Mr. President… An…”

@matt-383: You’re about to get a knock on your door.
