Meet Meysi. She’s a tiny terrier who weighed just 1.58 ounces at birth. She was so teeny when she was born that her owner, Ana Pohl of Poland, wasn’t sure if she would survive.
At three months, Meysi now weighs 3.25 ounces. While her owner feeds her constantly, veterinarians don’t think Meysi will grow much more.
Meysi is now vying for the Guinness World Record for smallest dog. She still has about nine months until she can make a go at the record, however, as Guinness World Record guidelines require that a dog be at least one year old before being eligible.
The Alaska SeaLife Center is rehabilitating this male Pacific walrus calf that was stranded near Barrow, Alaska on July 21. Watching this cutie bond with his human rescuers is one of the most adorable things I’ve ever seen:
Meet E.T. He’s a walrus at the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma, Washington. And he likes to practice his vocalizations. Needless to say, ladies love E.T.
